Former PESTILENCE Frontman Pulls Out Of PROJEKT TABUN
June 2, 2005PROJEKT TABUN, the new studio project founded by former PESTILENCE bassist Jeroen Paul Thesseling and KING LOCUST guitarist/producer Niels Drieënhuizen, has been forced to delay the release of their first recordings due to Thesseling's involvement in the recording sessions of ENSEMBLE SALAZHAR. Former PESTILENCE singer Martin Van Drunen, who was originally supposed to take part in the PROJEKT TABUN recording sessions, will not join the project due to "personal reasons," according to Thesseling. "We are very satisfied with the results so far," Jeroen added. The band's sound is being described as "a unique blend of Moorish-oriented lines, brutal grunts and palmas rhythms."
